Bio
Born in Madison TN, moved to White House at the age of 11 in 1974, Graduated from White House high school in 1981, Shortly after moving to White House our neighbors had a fire and the Volunteer Fire Department showed up to help put the fire out, After that I started hanging out at the fire station. Starting helping the Volunteer Fire Department at the age of 16 was one of the first junior firefighters ever on our department, Officially joined as a full time firefighter April of 1981 at the age of 18. shortly thereafter I was promoted to Lieutenant then captain assistant chief and then chief. I was the youngest chief at the age of 29 that ever held that position. As Chief our department was first rated by ISO as a class 9 in 1987,. Today we have ISO class 5,. In 1991 with help of the community Built our first Fire Station then known as Station 5 Located at 1916 Highway 31W. In 1998 I was Asst. Chief when we bult station 52 located in Greenbrier needed after the Robertson County Fire Dept. Closed it’s doors. We renamed station 5 to Station 51, As I was a big fan of the TV show called Emergency in the mid 70’s. As we where growing and we had a fire district north of White House which we was 9 miles from we built Station 53 also on Highway 31w. Today we operate out of 3 stations with approx. 40 firefighters and 9 vehicles. As a EMT I also worked for the Sumner County Volunteer Ambulance service until it went full time around 1987.
I’ve been married to my Childhood sweetheart since 1983, (39) Years, We have 3 boys which 2 of the are married with 2 children of their own. We live on a Family 104 acres farm in Robertson County. Since 1983 I have work full time as a Heavy Equipment Salesman at Parman Tractor in Nashville.
